Introduction to Lasers in Entertainment
An overview for production professionals of the four laser system types found in live entertainment: laser pointers, vector scanning laser projectors, raster laser video projectors, and Laser Illuminated Lighting Instruments. For each type it covers the system definition, common applications, hazards and classification, safe setup and use, and legal requirements in the US and internationally. This is an orientation course, not a substitute for operator training on any one system type.
